Introducing Gretchen’s new getthegoodness.com blog

Hi everyone! This is my very first post on my brand new blog! They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks! But, I am out to prove that wrong!

I have no experience or background with blogging or websites or internet “stuff”. I did not grow up with it and it does not come easy to me. But I am determined not to miss out on what is clearly the future.

You could call me Persistence with a capitol P ! I just do not believe in quitting….if it something you really want to do or accomplish.

With 10 years experience in the weight loss field, working directly with hundreds of women on a weekly basis, directly on the front line as I call it…..on a one to one basis, and in meetings; I believe that I have a wealth of information, and experience to bring to the table than many people could benefit from for their good health and best life.

They called me the recipe queen because I constantly brought in new recipes for them to try out because I knew they probably would not do so on their own. At least, not on a consistent continual basis….It was too time consuming.

I am a firm believer that it is all about the food and we are what we eat. I am not talking about slim thighs, or fat butts, or tight tummies. I am talking about being healthy from the inside out. And the food you put in your body will determine the body/health you will have for years to come.

For example: My husband Jack, is tall, thin and very athletic appearing. He works physically every day. When at the age of 45 he dropped over at the kitchen table , needless to say we were very alarmed.

He was diagnosed with high blood pressure and put on medication. Well, it did bring down the blood pressure, but their were so many negative side affects, he hated taking them. The Doctor changed it 3 times. Still didn’t like all the side affects.

So, we started to change his diet drastically! I monitored every bite that went into his mouth. Within 4 months, he was able to begin getting off of his medication. They monitored him for the next 6 months…and he was successfully weaned off the medication. It has been over 6 years now, and he is fine.

We are diligent in what both he and I eat. It does make a difference.

It makes a difference in our good health….in our energy….in our moods……in what activities we can do….the list is never ending.

Is it too late for YOU?         NO   NO   NO    It is     NEVER TOO LATE !!!!

It may be too late to change the past..but it is never too late to begin working towards a brand new ending.

Join us in our daily efforts to make a better ending.
